In Conversation With
Liz Santana and Sasha Perelman, Episode 10
This week’s “In Conversation With” features Liz Santana and Sasha Perelman, Founders of The Stone Age. With award winning experiences like Rosé Mansion and “The Best Pot Party” under their belts, Liz and Sasha’s work have been featured by Good Morning America, ABC News, Harper’s Bazaar and the Rolling Stones.
What started as just an idea on the couch three years ago, The Stone Age has solidified itself as the premier destination for Cannabis wellness and education.
Liz and Sasha sat down with our founder, Janice Buu to discuss their inspiration behind creating the space, and how they’re leveraging it as a source to open the dialogue on plant medicine, sexual wellness, mass incarceration, and the opioid epidemic.
“There’s not enough recognition to what it takes to get to the other side of the tunnel. I think it makes it very unapproachable for people who have a dream...because nobody celebrates and acknowledges the hard work, dedication, and resilience that’s required to push through to get there.” – Sasha Perelman
The road to creating a mass market experience–let alone the first-ever Cannabis experience–is not an overnight success story. Despite being a non-consumption event, both founders shed light on the red tape around Cannabis and the hurdles they’ve had to jump along the way. Liz and Sasha also tackle the subject of mental health and share their tips on self awareness, finding balance, and the future of The Stone Age as a legacy brand.
